Dear Member
The 2011 Winter Season finished last weekend , and I’m so glad
to advise all our members that the attendance figures for both
the Show Jumping and Dressage shows was the highest that we have
ever had for a winter season . Absolutely amazing – well done to
everyone who took part
We are delighted that so many new members joined Hartshill .
It’s a fabulous way to encourage rider’s at all different levels
to have a go at dressage .

A special thank you goes to Victoria Thirlby for the use of
Grendon Equestrian Centre .
The new summer season kicks off on the 16th April at
the Hartshill show ground .We will be hosting qualifiers for The
Royal London, Midarc, and UK Riders, throughout the rest of the
season with the UK Riders regional final on the 25th
June 2011 .We see all these as a great additions to the coming
year, and we hope that you will enjoy the new qualifiers.
For all members this year we will be issuing you with individual
membership cards , please don’t worry if you haven’t received
yours yet – I promise I have all your details and will be
handing them out when I next see you .
The web page is constantly being updated . This year we have
added a classified section and a newsletter page – please keep
checking the web page (and of course Facebook) for all your
updates .
IMP are producing some great photos for us this year. Please

Thank you to everyone for all your help with painting the jumps
a few weeks ago – if we ever see another paint brush again I
think it will be too soon !
As always if you would like to help out with any of tasks for
Hartshill Riding Club please consider stepping forward now and
joining the team, or even offering to help out on show days. If
any of you are interested, please contact Jayne on 07747461367,
who will be happy to fill you in on what is required and what is
involved.
